Dr Carin Bergh

Founder | Industrial & Organisational Psychologist

Carin is the founder of Best of People Consulting and a registered Industrial and Organisational Psychologist with three decades of experience in both corporate and consulting environments. Driven by a passion for evidence-based practice and human potential, Carin partners with organisations across South Africa, Africa, and the Middle East to enhance how they discover, grow, and retain talent.

She specialises in psychometric assessments, leadership and team development, diversity and inclusion, and career guidance. Carin brings a unique blend of a heart for people and a head for business, using psychological insight to create meaningful impact in the world of work. Carin holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pretoria, where her research focused on unconscious racial and religious bias and its impact on workplace dynamics.

Known for her business insight, warmth, and integrity, Carin is deeply committed to empowering individuals and teams to perform at their best.

Lana van staden Moodley

Consultant | Associate Psychometrist (Independent Practice)

Lana is a registered Psychometrist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa, bringing over a decade of experience in psychometric assessment, recruitment, and individual development. She has worked across internal and external consulting roles, with exposure to sectors such as professional services, transport, and medico-legal.

At Best of People Consulting, Lana applies her expertise to support ethical, evidence-based assessment practices. She is particularly passionate about aligning behavioural competencies with organisational strategy, ensuring these are reflected not just at the executive level, but embedded throughout recruitment, selection, and performance management processes.

Known for her professional integrity and insight, Lana plays a key role in helping organisations make informed talent decisions that drive long-term effectiveness and growth.

Fun Fact: Outside of work, Lana is a fan of power naps, lighthearted Netflix series, and keeping up with the surprisingly strong opinions of her parrot.

Edie bosman

Talent Assessment Coordinator

With a BCom in Industrial Psychology, a Diploma in Labour Law, and over 20 years’ experience in Human Resources, Edie brings deep organisational insight to her role at Best of People Consulting. Her career includes 21 years in a global corporate, where she progressed from HR Generalist to HR Business Partner before moving into consulting.

At Best of People Consulting, she ensures the smooth coordination of psychometric assessments and related processes. Her strong operational focus and client-first mindset help deliver a seamless experience for clients, candidates, and consultants.

Known for her calm presence, attention to detail, and structured approach, Edie ensures assessments run efficiently and on time, keeping everyone informed and aligned.

Fun Fact: Outside of work, Edie enjoys designing Escape Room puzzles and has a creative flair for speech writing and poetry.
